Lioresal bloodstream reaches the spinal cord, its GABA receptors. There it suppresses specific reflex reactions that can block the transmission of excitation along the nerve endings. Lioresal in the form of a solution for intrathecal
Lioresal injection is carried out in the spinal cord through a special catheter or by a puncture in the lumbar spine. Other modes of administration are contraindicated. Lioresal cannot be appointed during pregnancy. In the period of lactation you should temporarily discontinue breastfeeding.

Alcohol is not compatible with the reception Lioresal.
